PayID is a simple service that makes depositing funds into your Cointree account fast & easy. Most banks and financial institutions in Australia now support Pay ID. Here are the steps to deposit with PayID:
Step One
Once you are logged into Cointree, click on the 'Wallet' tab and select the 'Deposit Cash' page.
Step Two
Select the 'PayID' deposit option and enter the amount you would like to deposit. For example, the customer below wants to deposit a total of $50 AUD.
Step Three
Review your deposit summary to ensure that you are depositing the right amount.
The deposit summary lists the amount you’re depositing - your ‘Deposit amount’, and the amount that will get credited to your Cointree account.
You can then click ‘Confirm’ to proceed with the deposit order.
Step Four:
You will then be directed to a page where you're provided with a unique PayID email. The reference for each deposit will be the initials of your name (e.g. John Smith = JS).
*Please note that the first deposit may take up to 24 hours to process for security purposes.
What should I do if I haven't received my PayID deposit?
PayID is generally an instant transfer between your bank and ours. However, there can be delays at times, especially for the first deposit.
We have noticed that some banks implement a delay in processing PayID payments when it is your first time using the payment option. Some banks clearly state this on their website while others do not. If your deposit hasn't arrived in your Cointree account after 1-2 business days, please contact your bank to investigate.
If there is a delay with your PayID transaction, please let our support team know and send through a receipt or screenshot of the payment with your support message. You can submit a new request to our support team here.
